The West LA EAC has monthly meetings held on the first Thursday of each month. In addition to the monthly meetings, small workshops are held bi-monthly and larger seminars are held annually. One of the purposes of our meetings is to keep the employer updated on current labor laws which may affect them, in addition to, providing an atmosphere for networking and gathering of information to benefit the employer.

The WLAEAC presented a holiday gift basket complete with turkey and trimmings to three local veterans on November 4, 2008. Recipients are: Sergeant John Mendoza, a ten year Marine veteran injured while serving in Iraq; Wendy Mendoza, US Army, who served and was injured in Iraq; and Lieutenant Michael Beadle, a US Army Vietnam Veteran.
