$500 given to the Marin Conservation Corps, to help fund their education center. $3000 Sponsorship of the 2nd Annual Workforce Investment Board Job Summit.
Each year $500 is given to the Marin Employment Connection to purchase Susan Ireland Ready-Made Resume Software. The software includes 70 resume templates used by job seekers in the Career Resource Center. The templates consist of a wide variety of resumes tailored to different occupations.
A donation of $2,000 was given to the Marin Community Clinic, which is a non-profit agency provides quality accessible healthcare for low-income and uninsured Marin County residents.
A donation of $3000 was given February 2005 to Tamalpais School District Adult & Community Education. The funds were used to cover initial costs for facilitator materials and teacher preparation time for the "Customer Service Certificate Program." The class is geared towards individuals who are currently seeking jobs or desire training to enhance their job performance.
A $2000 stipend was given May 2003 to a local high school student to enroll in the Kaiser Permanente summer Medical Assistant Internship Program.
