What Is EACOC?

What Is EACOC?The Employer Advisory Council of Orange County is a non-profit corporation whose members represent public and private sector employers throughout the county, and whose primary purpose is to establish a working relationship with the State of California's Employment Development Department (EDD). We are in direct contact with the EDD, which allows us to not only promote their services to the public, but to also act as advisors and offer the employer's perspective.

What Does EACOC Offer?

We provide employers with education and information on topics such as labor law, unemployment/disability insurance, employment trends, general business practices, and much, much more. By becoming a member, you will have access to:

  • Workshops featuring OC's most experienced attorneys
  • Access to an HR expert through our HOTLINE
  • Opportunities for networking with other employers
  • Quarterly HR newsletter, The Advisor
  • Up-to-date legislative information

2007 Certificate Programs
Five Workshops for the H.R. Professional

EAC-OC members may enroll in this Prepaid Program for $249 or they may attend individual programs for $60 per workshop. Members who attend at least four of the five programs are eligible for a Certificate of Completion. For even greater flexibility, companies may also purchase the prepaid program and send different employees to the various sessions. Topics and speakers are being confirmed now and a listing of 2007 workshops and speakers will soon be available.

HR Recertification Credits

How Do I Become A Member?

How Do I Become A Member?Membership has its privileges, and for the low cost of $95 per year you will receive the above-mentioned benefits, as well as a 30% discount on our monthly workshops ($20 off our non-member price of $80). In addition, membership entitles you to a discounted rate for the HR Certificate Program, for a savings of $100!
