West Los Angeles

Welcome to our website!

The WLA Employers Advisory Council is composed of employee volunteers representing a cross section of business and industry. EAC's were developed to promote a stronger partnership between the California Employment Development Department (EDD) and the business community.

The WLA EAC is one of more than 50 similar organizations throughout California, all networking at the state level under the umbrella organization, the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC). While the West Los Angeles EAC functions at the local level by providing educational business seminars, the CEAC tackles state and federal employment issues, communicates with legislative representative and gains grassroots support on legislative issues.

Membership

Cost of Annual Membership: Free.

Seminar Fees

Our low seminar fees range from $0 - $75.00. Fees cover speaker dues, breakfast and all handout materials. If you are unable to make the seminar, you will be allowed one future seminar attendance, or we will mail you the material for the seminar you missed. Members will pay a reduced rate.

Metered parking is available on Broadway, all adjacent to 26th street block. The restrooms are located in the main building, across from the community center room, near the food courts, and also near the tennis courts. Conference room is located street level at the northeast area of the Yahoo complex. You can walk to the community room from all areas of the Yahoo complex.
