The South Placer Employer Advisory Council (SPEAC) is a non-profit organization made up of local employers. These local businesses have established a working relationship with the Employment Development Department (EDD) to assist the local employer community to conduct business more effectively and efficiently.

Some of the ways this is done:

• Seminars and Workshops
• Communication of services available to local employers
• Networking opportunities for local employers

Membership Dollars Provide:

• Membership Directory Publication
• Discounted monthly seminars for members
• California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC) an umbrella organization which represents all of California's EAC's at the State level
• Support for job fairs benefiting local employers
• Support for veteran assistance programs

Meets on the third Tuesday of the month starting at 11:45 until 1:00. Lunch fee of $15.00 for members ($20.00 for non members) which includes lunch and speaker materials.

Membership for SPEAC in 2008 is $25.00 for the year, not including the monthly lunch fees. Or if you sign up early for 2008 your company can join for $115.00 which includes membership and nine lunch meetings for one representative.
