Welcome to the San Francisco Employers Advisory Council Website!

Golden Gate Bridge
The San Francisco Employer Advisory Council (SF EAC) is one of the 50 similar organizations throughout California, all networking at the state level under the umbrella organization, the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC). While the SF EAC functions at the local level, the CEAC tackles state and federal employment issues, communicates with legislative representative and gains grassroots support on legislative issues. It is also part of the National Employer Council (NEC) which works at the federal level on employment concerns.

The SF EAC is a non-profit association of San Francisco businesses seeking to expand knowledge and expertise on employment-related issues. The SF EAC also seeks to improve communication between the California Employment Development Department (EDD) and the local employer community. Our members represent a cross-section of all types and sizes of businesses, both for-profit and non-profit, and government agencies. Throughout the year, the SF EAC sponsors monthly presentations from highly regarded employment law and human resources experts. Our topics vary widely from avoiding employment related litigation, wage and hour laws, hiring and firing, extended leaves, to unemployment insurance and tax training.
