The Alameda County Employer Advisory Council includes Fremont, Hayward, Union City, Newark, Castro Valley, the Tri Valley areas of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore.
The purpose of the Advisory Council is to: Act in advisory capacity to the State of California EDD field office; Enhance the services and communications network for local employers; Be of assistance to employers on an educational and legislative level; Provide our members with expert speakers on topics relative to employers’ business and human resource issues.
The Gavilan EAC will provide local employers with relevant Information on human resource issues and other topics of interest, opportunities to network professionally, and a greater understanding of the resources available through the Employment Development Department (EDD) and the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC).
The Marin County EAC is one of the more than 50 local Employer Advisory Councils (EAC) throughout the State. Under the umbrella of the statewide California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC) and the Employment Development Department, the Marin County EAC is the local representative to provide information on employment related issues.
The Employer Advisory Council (EAC) Monterey Bay is comprised of employer representatives conducting businesses throughout the Monterey County. In Partnership with the Employment Development Department (EDD), the EAC helps employers do business more effectively and efficiently.
The San Francisco EAC is an association of businesses seeking to educate employers on emerging business related issues and to improve the communication between the Employment Development Department (EDD) and the local employer community.
The purpose of the San Mateo County Employer Advisory Council (EAC) is to advise the EDD of means by which to provide effective employment services that are responsive to the needs of our local communities. The Council is also an avenue by which managers keep abreast of current trends and practices in the areas of personnel, administration, and management.
The Santa Clara County EAC is composed of employee volunteers representing a cross section of business and industry. EAC’s were developed to promote a stronger partnership between the California Employment Development Department (EDD) and the business community.
The Santa Cruz County Employer Advisory Council (EAC) is comprised of employer representatives conducting businesses throughout the County. EACs were developed to foster a stronger partnership between the California Employment Development Department (EDD) and the business community.
Solano/Napa The Solano/Napa EAC is composed of employer volunteers representing a cross section of business and industry.
Sonoma County EAC serves the community on many levels, from student scholarships, to contributions to local human service organizations, to partnering with the Sonoma County Human Services Division/Job Link One Stop to implement the Workforce Investment Act and respond to employer needs.
