Details: Silicon Valley remains the world’s center for new technologies. Savvy business people know that knowing the state of the valley is critical when competing for top-notch talent. As the economy continues to take a downturn, what do human resources professionals need to know in order to stay competitive in terms of hiring, compensation and benefits? This session will cover such topics as:
• Current compensation trends covering hiring, turnover, base salary budgets, cash incentives, and equity
• An in-depth focus of the Bay Area labor market hiring rates and new-hire bonus practices
• A look at inexpensive benefits/perks that companies are currently offering
• Best practices on managing benefit costs
• Compensation and benefits as a recruiting tool
