Details: The inaugural speaker for our first seminar is presiding Administrative Law Judge Marcus Gunkel, who has presented over 100 seminars and lectures to various management, labor and employment groups. He also has served as guest lecturer on Legal issues at Stanford University, Santa Clara University, San Jose State University, UC Santa Cruz, and San Jose City College.
A graduate of Santa Clara University law school, Judge Gunkel presided over the San Jose Office of Appeals from 2001 to 2005. On July, 1, 2007 he was appointed Administrative Law Judge over the Oakland Office of Appeals. He will share his vast knowledge and distribute material on the Appeals process. This will be a chance for you to learn more about this critical phase of the unemployment claim process and to ask questions as well. So don't miss this interesting presentation and enjoy a wonderful breakfast as well.
