Michael Millenheft has been with the Employment Development Department, Tax Branch, for 21 years in Ventura. He was a Payroll Tax Auditor for four years and has been an Employment Tax Consultant for seventeen years. His current duties include educating business owners, human resources professionals and tax professionals on State Payroll Tax topics at EDD’s Payroll seminars and speaking engagements throughout the Tri-Counties. He also addresses correspondence from employers and their representatives where he addresses penalty waivers requests, out of balance payroll accounts, estimated assessments, payroll reporting errors, erroneous refunds, etc.
