Krista Dunzweiler
Lockelord
Details:
"Does taking public money make my project a "public work"?" In the current economic climate, many businesses have turned to government contracts and grants to continue their operations. However, by accepting these funds and contracts, many employers unwittingly turn their projects into "public works" that may require the business to comply with prevailing wage requirements. SEAC is pleased to offer a 30 minute teleconference to discuss what kinds of projects constitute "public works" under California law, and the impact of a project being a "public work."
