Details:
Mr. Avila and Ms. McMillan will talk about how to stay compliant with the most comprehensive labor laws, including the minimum wage, overtime, record keeping, and youth employment provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). They will also answer your questions about FLSA, MSPA, FMLA, DBRA, SCA, H1B and H2A.
Mr. Avila is an assistant district director for the U.S. Department of Labor in Northern California.
Ms. McMillan is a federal investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor at the Redding field office.
Non-members pay at the door with cash or check to NVEAC. This is a brown bag event.
